One first step, sized to what you already know.
A scoping day
We come to your business for a day and sit with the people doing the work. Within a week you get a written picture: the processes most worth putting AI into, a rough estimate of the hours each one burns, what not to touch and why, where your data would go, and a clear next step with a quote if one is warranted.
A prototype of your idea
You already have an idea. We build a working prototype on your own data in a few weeks so you can see what it does, put it in front of the people who would use it, and decide with evidence rather than a slide deck.
Build it out, agile
You know what you want. We build it properly in short iterations, in your own systems and cloud account, showing working software every week and adjusting as we learn. Logs, tests, handover notes and a session for the people who will run it.
After the first step
Scoped with you, one step at a time.
There is no programme to sign up to and no retainer to buy first. After the first engagement we agree the next piece of work together. Some clients want the next workflow built. Some want the engineer who built it to stay on as its named owner, which is what engineering cover is for. Some just want a second opinion now and then.

What transformation means at your size
For a business of ten to two hundred people, AI transformation is not a two-year programme. It is one process at a time: the first one running reliably, measured against the hours it used to take, then the next. The firms that get stuck are the ones that pilot forever. We are engineers, so we build the thing, put it into your systems, and stay to make sure it keeps working.

How much does it cost?
The first engagement is a fixed price agreed before we start, after a free 30-minute call. Anything after that is scoped and quoted case by case, so you only ever commit to the next step.
Do we need our own engineers or IT team?
No. Some of the businesses we work with have neither, and we work with whoever knows the process best and the systems you already use. Most do have engineering teams, and we work alongside them or lead the initiative with them, together.
Is our data safe with AI tools?
It depends on the tools and how they are set up. We show you where your data goes, recommend safer options and flag the risks we see. We do not provide legal or compliance sign-off, so your data protection responsibilities stay with you.
What if AI is not the right answer?
We say so. Sometimes a simple automation, or a change to how a process runs, does the job. A scoping day that saves you from a bad AI project is a good day.
Which tools do you work with?
Our experience is in code and AI: Python, TypeScript, LLMs and agent frameworks such as LangGraph, retrieval over your own data, AWS, and AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code. If your team builds in a low-code platform we have not used, we will tell you up front.
Do you only work with Manchester businesses?
No. We work with businesses across the UK remotely, and travel nationwide when it helps to be in the room.
